When we helped launch the Excelsior Lions group in the summer of 2016, we immediately knew that we wanted to work towards a better community and give back as much as we could.
One of our main priorities when we raise money with various volunteer-driven events is trying to figure out how to give 100% of those funds right back into our immediate community.
When we heard that a local elementary school had $2,000 in past-due lunch bills, our club knew that we had to help. On December 20th, the Excelsior Lions Club was able to proudly donate $2,000 to make sure that no child goes hungry at that school.
We already have plans to ramp up our giving and plan to expand our program into 2019. If you are interested in helping our club with events and fundraising, please email Andrew@southlakemn.com
