South Lake Agency has built a reputation for providing amazing coverage, competitive rates, unbeatable customer service, and prompt claims handling. Our agents are pillars in the community, and represent our agency well in the field.
Duties include:
Generating insurance documents and certificates of insurance
Processing policy changes
Providing quotes for prospective clients
Following up with clients after quotes are provided
Processing paperwork to on-board new clients
Accepting payments for insurance
Marketing activities
Helping clients file & follow-up with claims
Managing social media channels
Meeting with referral partners
& general office admin tasks
Unlike traditional "captive" insurance agencies that can only offer one product, we work with many different carriers. Because we work with top carriers like AAA, Travelers, Safeco, Encompass, Progressive, The Hartford, and more, we can find better rates and better coverage most of the time. Because of that, our clients are extremely happy, and so are you.
We use sophisticated software tools and classic customer service skills to attract, help, and maintain an amazing client base.
The position pays $40k-$60k+ depending on experience and performance.

We require 2 years of relevant industry experience, a property & casualty insurance license, clean criminal, credit, & financial background.
Priority will be given to currently licensed agents, insurance producers, & office managers looking to make the move from captive to an independent agent.
